Description
Our extra thick 1.5 mm (1500 micron) crystal-clear PVC table protector offers superior protection without hiding the natural beauty of your table. It guards against scratches, knocks, and heat damage up to 80 °C, while remaining easy to wipe clean and completely food-safe.
This is one of the thickest and most durable clear protectors on the market – always check the micron thickness before comparing alternatives, as thinner, cheaper versions offer less protection.
To ensure a precise fit after natural shrinkage, we automatically add a 5 mm allowance to all rectangular and square protectors — you don’t need to adjust your measurements.

Heat Resistance:
Provides reliable protection up to 80 °C. Avoid placing very hot cookware or dishes straight from the oven directly onto the protector.
Surface Suitability:
Designed for flat, smooth tabletops. Not suitable for textured, uneven, or grooved surfaces — for these, we recommend our frosted protector variants.
Air Bubbles:
On some surfaces (especially glass, gloss, or light-coloured finishes), air bubbles may form between the protector and tabletop. This is normal and purely aesthetic. To reduce visibility of bubbles, choose the frosted clear protector from our range.
Outdoor Use:
Not recommended for outdoor tables or environments with significant temperature changes.
Shrinkage:
PVC naturally contracts slightly over time. Our 5 mm overcut ensures your protector fits correctly once it has settled.
Packaging & Storage:
Supplied rolled on a sturdy tube to prevent creasing. Keep the tube for easy, crease-free storage.

Custom Sizes
All tablecloths are cut to order, so we’re able to cut to any size you need at no additional cost.
- Select the next largest tablecloth size to the one you need.
- Use the order form above and select the “Yes” checkbox under “Custom Size Required”.
- Enter your finished tablecloth size in centimetres.
- Your finished tablecloth size must be smaller than the one selected.
Care
- This product is wipe clean only, do not machine wash.
- Wipe with a damp cloth, use mild citrus based detergent if required.
- Some tomato, egg, curry based sauces and ink etc may cause staining.
- The longer stains are left on the surface, the harder it will be to remove them.
Delivery
- All orders are cut to order. Below is our typical dispatch times:
- No edge binding: Orders are usually dispatched within 1-3 working days and sent via 2-3 working day delivery service.
- Edge binding: Orders are dispatched within 2-5 working days depending on workload.
- If your fabric is not currently in stock we will contact you via e-mail.
- We use Royal Mail and a signed for courier service to send out our parcels.
Returns
- All tablecloths are cut to order/made to measure items and cannot be returned.
- Manufacturing faults or defects will be replaced. If we can not replace it you will be offered a refund.
- If colour or fabric quality is important to you then we suggest you order a free sample before placing your order.
- Listed shapes and sizes are there for your convenience and are not stock items.
